Uzbekistan: Folklore Expedition to the Heart of the Silk Road

Uzbekistan, located in Central Asia, is blessed with a rich history. The ancient Silk Road that passed through it was a vital trade route crossing the deserts of Asia, as well as high and snowy mountain peaks, serving as a link between the East and the West. Alexander the Great reached Uzbekistan during his conquest towards the Indus Valley, aiming to conquer the ancient world as it was known in those days. However, the great conquerors Genghis Khan and Tamerlane left their mark on the history and local culture. In our journey, we will visit walled cities, beautiful madrasas, and learn to recognize the famous architecture and art of Central Asia in a trip full of historical, cultural, and visual experiences.
