Day 1 | Singapore

Upon arrival in Singapore, we will head directly to the Henderson Waves, the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore, completed in 2008, with a height of 36 meters and a fantastic, uniquely designed shape that sways gracefully along its 274-meter length. From here, we will continue to Mount Faber Park, a popular tourist destination, and connect to the cable car linking Sentosa Island to Mount Faber. We'll explore the impressive dining and entertainment options beneath us. Next, we'll head to Sentosa Island, home to the world's largest aquarium with over 800 species, including the majestic manta rays and around 200 different sharks, visible through the giant aquarium window. After exploring the aquarium, we will proceed to the business and river district complex. After the tours, we'll check into the hotel, organize ourselves, and head to Marina Bay Sands Hotel (possibly by public transportation) to the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark, where we'll enjoy a spectacular lights and colors show over the water. (Dinner not included)

Day 2 | Singapore (B)

After breakfast, we'll embark on an extraordinary city tour, starting with the historical and cultural background of Chinatown in Singapore. We'll visit vibrant markets, various Buddhist temples, and the unique and diverse Hindu temple, Sri Mariamman. After exploring the Hindu temple, we'll stroll through the streets of the Chinese Quarter, explore the traditional market, and visit the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum, housing the sacred Buddha tooth relic at its golden stupa. From here, we'll move on to Gardens by the Bay, a 101-acre area of lush greenery with three cooled biomes full of natural splendor. We'll marvel at the rare plant life in the Flower Dome and explore the landscape with the impressive Supertrees and flowers. After the tours, we'll transfer to the airport and board a direct flight to our next destination, Denpasar, for overnight stay. (Dinner not included)

Day 3 | Bali – (Java Island) Yogyakarta – Prambanan Temple

This morning, we'll take a flight to Yogyakarta, known as the "Special Region of Yogyakarta" and considered the cultural heart of Indonesia. The city is adorned with banyan trees surrounding its markets and squares. From here, we'll head to the city's outskirts to visit Borobudur, the historic Buddhist temple complex built in the 9th century and dedicated to the Trimurti, the three main Hindu deities: Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. The impressive Prambanan Temple, built in the 9th century, is dedicated to the Hindu trinity of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. The Prambanan complex has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, with its main attraction being the reliefs and structures depicting the Ramayana epic. During the evening, we'll experience a traditional Ramayana dance performance. We'll spend the night and have dinner in Yogyakarta.

Day 4 | (Java Island) Yogyakarta – Temples and Rejang Ceremony

This morning, we'll visit the Buddhist Mendut Monastery, another relic of the glorious culture of 9th-century Java. The large Mendut stupa houses a beautiful Buddha statue. We'll then proceed to Pawon Temple, a small but elegantly decorated temple that served as a gateway to Borobudur. In the afternoon, we'll head to the southern part of Java Island to witness the Rejang ceremony in the village of Dukuh Sruni. The Rejang dance is a unique Javanese trance dance performed during special ceremonies. We'll experience the captivating traditional music and dance, offering insight into the spiritual and cultural practices of the Javanese people. We'll stay overnight in Yogyakarta.

Day 5 | Yogyakarta – Ongud – Pindul Cave Tubing

This morning, we'll embark on a local "becak" (traditional rickshaw) ride to visit Water Castle (Tamansari) and the Sultan's Palace (Kraton Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat). We'll explore the history and architecture of these significant cultural sites. In the afternoon, we'll head to the village of Ongud, where we'll witness a traditional "gamelan" music performance. Gamelan is a traditional Indonesian ensemble typically featuring metallophones, xylophones, drums, and gongs. In the evening, we'll enjoy a traditional Javanese dinner. We'll then continue to Pindul Cave for a unique tubing experience through the cave's underground river. We'll stay overnight in Yogyakarta.

Days 6-7 | Ujung Pandang – Tanah Toraja

This morning, we will return to the airport and take another flight, this time to the land of Toraja. During these two days, we will deepen our acquaintance with the fascinating, unique, and different culture of the Toraja tribe. We will visit the burial sites of Londa and Lemo, where we can see the Tau-Tau effigies that guard the memory of the deceased. In the villages of Palawa and Tuberana Sadan, we will see the Toraja houses built on stilts, shaped like inverted boats. These houses are originally Tongkonan houses, originally intended for gatherings and the dwelling place of ancestral spirits. We will embark on walking tours between the villages and reach the village of Batutumonga, where we will visit an excellent vantage point from which, on a clear day, we can see almost the entire land of Toraja. We will explore the local market, where we can see hundreds of buffalo for sale, some at unbelievable prices (thousands of dollars). Occasionally, pigs and other animals are also sold in the market. We will travel to places where special events take place, and during dinner, we will enjoy a local dance performance. Evening meals and overnight stays during these days will be in the Toraja region (Rantepao).

Day 8 | Solowasi Island – Bali

This morning, we will leave the anthropological experience of Tanah Toraja, travel to the airport, and fly to Ujung Pandang. If time allows, we may visit the impressive national park in Bantimurung-Bulusaraung in South Sulawesi, an area with remarkable karst formations and the world's second-largest (over 43,500 hectares) karst landscape, containing about 285 caves. The pastoral reserve is also known as the Kingdom of Butterflies, where numerous rare butterflies and a large number of migratory birds can be found. As part of the tour, we will also visit the preserved waterfall with a drop of about 15 meters (width about 20 meters). At the end of the tour, we will continue to the local airport of Ujung Pandang for another evening flight, this time to Bali, to the city of Denpasar. After landing, we will leave the city and head to Lovina Beach for overnight accommodation and dinner.

Day 9 | Bali – Lovina (B, D)

Early in the morning, we will rise to witness the sunrise experience of Bali. We will board a boat on Lovina Beach and visit the dolphins in their natural surroundings. It's a unique and spectacular sight, and if we are lucky, they will interact and swim near us with the sunrise in the background. After returning to the hotel, we will organize and have breakfast. We will then embark on tours and visits to Lovina Beach and the northern surroundings of Bali. We will visit the historical Singaraja Palace, a symbol of the beginning of the local kingdom (Buleleng, 1599). We will also visit the library, which contains palm leaf manuscripts. We will travel to the hot springs and sulphuric water temple in Banjar, surrounded by coconut trees in a tropical vegetation area. Locals believe that bathing in these waters rejuvenates and heals. We will make a short visit to Gitgit Waterfall, and at the end of the tours, we will return to the hotel for overnight accommodation and dinner.

Day 10 | Lovina – Denpasar (B, D)

After breakfast, we will visit the impressive complex of the Batakki temples, located at the foot of the holy and active Agung Mountain. We will return to the bustling center of Bali to see the traditional courthouse with its impressive wall paintings. We will continue to visit the Bat Cave and the painted fishing village. Overnight stay in Bali.

Day 11 | Bali (B, D)

Another magical day in Bali will begin with a performance depicting good and evil through the local dance with symbolic masks from Balinese mythology. The Barong symbolizes good, and the Rangda represents evil, both with long fingernails and masks expressing wickedness. We will continue our visit to the region, visiting the burial complex in the temples carved into the side of the mountain. We will also visit the Tirta Empul water temple, where locals believe the waters are rejuvenating, holy, and healing. We will travel to Mount Kintamani, rising 1500 meters above sea level, located near the shadow of the active volcano, Batur. We will have a beautiful view of the surroundings and the lake. After the tours and visits, we will return to the hotel.

Day 12 I To Flores Island – Ende (B, L)

This morning, we will leave the Bali region, knowing that we will return on our journey. We take another flight, this time heading to Flores Island, specifically the town of Ende. Upon landing on the new island, we embark on a visit to the traditional village of Wologai, which preserves the classic architectural style of life in the Lio-Ansar culture. From there, we set out on a hiking trail between two picturesque villages until we will reach the Moni village, where we will spend the night.

Day 13 I Ende - Kelimutu (B, L)

A delightful day off the tourist trail in Indonesia. We leave the hotel in the morning to explore the picturesque villages of Flores Island. As evening approaches, we ascend Mount Kelimutu, one of the amazing volcanoes in the Indonesian archipelago, offering a stunning view of the region's lakes. We witness a beautiful sunset and see the three volcanic lakes, each with a different color: blue, green, and red, created by various minerals in the water. After the tours, we will return to our ecological lodge for the night.

Day 14 I Ende – Labuan Bajo - Komodo Dragon (B, L)

This morning, we will wake up early and catch the only flight of the day to another point on the island, Labuan Bajo. Upon arrival, we head to the harbor to board a boat to Komodo National Park on Rinca Island, locally known as "Loh Buaya." The national park includes small islands and three main islands: Komodo, Rinca, and Padar. The islands, spread across a vast area, are dominated by savannas with a variety of plants, such as bamboo, olive trees, hibiscus, and resorcinol. We will explore the protected area on a trek and, at the end, sail back to our lodge. We will stop at Pink Beach and relax there. Those interested can snorkel or dive with equipment provided. Later, we will return to Labuan Bajo for accommodation.

Day 15 I Flores' Flores Cat Fights - To Bali Island (B, L)

This morning, we will get to know the locals in the village of Flores in the realm of Plores, where we will witness a martial arts dance performance called "cat fights" (Kacik). This tradition is performed by warriors, usually armed with a spear and shield, engaging in unique movements and wearing special costumes for hunting and combat. We then head to the airport and take a flight back to Bali, considered by many as the most fascinating and beautiful paradise in the world. We travel to our accommodation on the island of Bali.

Day 16 I Mangupura Empire - Artists' Village Ubud (B, L)

Today, we will tour and visit the Lake Batur area and the temples complex of Ulun Danu and Taman Ayun. We will travel to the remnants of the Mengwi Empire, Mangupura, at the Tamblingan Lake and visit the royal water temple of Tirta Empul. We then proceed to explore the artists' town of Ubud, where we learn about the unique culture of the less touristy areas in Bali. After the tours, we will return to our hotel in Ubud.

Day 17 I Tanah Lot Temple – Bali Aga Village - Ubud (B, L)

After breakfast, we head to the Tirta Gangga Water Palace and visit the Kehen Temple. We then proceed to the ancient village of Tenganan, a Bali Aga village known for its unique customs. In the evening, we will witness an impressive performance held in the open air, the Kecak & Fire show, combining art and Balinese folklore through dance, full makeup, costumes, and fire. We return to our hotel after the tours and visits.

Day 18 I Off-road Vehicles, Jatiluwih, Subak, Villages, and Priest's House (B, L)

After breakfast, we ride on off-road Volkswagen vehicles, commonly used by locals for a day of touring between villages, rice terraces, and breathtaking landscapes. We will take a light trek through the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, also known as the "Stairway to Heaven," and Subak. We will visit Luhur Batukaru Temple, a well-preserved structure surrounded by tropical vegetation, and experience the local life in the Tabanan town. We will also visit a local Hindu priest's house and enjoy a traditional Balinese cake, seasonal fruit, and coffee. In the evening, we will return to our hotel in Ubud.

Day 19 I Klungkung – Balinese Martial Arts Show - Ubud

We will visit the Goa Lawah Bat Cave and the Goose Kart, which is a fantastic example of authentic architecture in Klungkung. We will visit the ancient Justice Hall that served the island's residents in the 18th century and preserved its ancient charm. In the evening, we enjoy an impressive show held in the open air, the Kecak & Fire show, combining art and Balinese folklore through dance, full makeup, costumes, and fire. We will return to our hotel in Ubud after the tours.

Day 20 I Klungkung 

Last free time in Bali. From here, we transfer to the airport for a flight.
