Days 1 | Yangon

Upon arrival, we'll proceed to our hotel for accommodation in the city.


Day 2 | Yangon

Today, we explore the capital city of Myanmar, Yangon, named by the Burmese king Alaungpaya in 1755, meaning "City of Peace." Our journey begins with a visit to the ancient Shwedagon Pagoda, soaring nearly 100 meters high, adorned with tons of gold, 4,000 diamonds, and numerous precious stones, making it a captivating landmark. We'll also visit the reclining Buddha at Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda and explore local markets, with an optional visit to the historic synagogue built by the Baghdadi Jewish community in Yangon. Overnight stay and dinner in Yangon.


Day 3 | Yangon - Inle Lake

In the morning, we'll fly to Heho and transfer to the fascinating tourist destination, Inle Lake. We'll explore the lake, visit the central pagoda, a traditional weaving house, and a local cigar-making workshop. Rowing through the floating gardens, we'll witness the unique lifestyle of the Intha people who engage in fishing and cultivate crops on the water using a distinctive foot-rowing technique. Overnight stay near Inle Lake.


Day 4 | Inle Lake - Indein

Continuing our exploration of the anthropological region around Inle Lake, we'll visit the surrounding villages, learn about the local sugar and rice industries, and proceed to the Indein Pagoda complex. If time permits, we may also visit the Nga Phe Chaung Monastery. Overnight stay at Inle Lake.


Day 5 | Inle Lake - Bagan

This morning, we'll fly from Heho to Bagan. Bagan, with its 2,500 temples scattered around, represents a golden era of the kingdom. We'll visit temples, including the impressive Ananda Temple, and be amazed by the remarkable architecture and stunning wall paintings. The highlight of our visit will be the Ananda Pagoda, the masterpiece of Bagan. We'll also explore the incredible Shwezigon Pagoda, visit the local market, and witness the production of traditional lacquerware. After a special factory tour, we'll ride in unique ox-cart carriages to enjoy the mesmerizing sunset over the temple region. Check-in at the hotel, followed by an evening performance of traditional theater. Overnight stay in Bagan.


Day 6 I Bagan – Mount Popa

This morning, we will set out on the road to the Eden of Bagan, the area of Mount Popa. A 45-kilometer drive south will take us to the Mount Popa region, passing through picturesque villages and vineyards producing unique wines. Once we arrive at Mount Popa, we will embark on a hiking tour in the mountainous area, enjoying leisure time in the enchanting landscape after exploring the mountain, home to about 1,500 monks. We will then return to Bagan, making a stop at one of the authentic villages along the way if time allows. Overnight stay and dinner in Bagan.


Day 7 I Bagan – Mandalay – Amarapura – Mandalay

This morning, we bid farewell to the Bagan region and take a flight to our next destination, Mandalay. Upon arrival, we'll have a short drive to embark on a boat trip on the Irrawaddy River. From there, we will proceed to a walking tour in the impressive city of Mandalay, the last royal capital of Myanmar before the British occupation, and the second-largest city in the country. We'll visit Mahamuni Pagoda, where residents attach gold leaf to the Buddha statue, and witness one of the city's specialties: gold leaf pounding. Overnight stay in Mandalay.


Day 8 I Mandalay – Mingun

This morning, we'll visit the world's longest teakwood bridge at Shwenandaw Monastery, also known as the Golden Palace, a remnant of Burma's glory days as an independent kingdom. From here, we'll proceed to the "Golden Palace," the late 19th-century palace of King Mindon. Afterward, we'll return to Mandalay for our flight back to Yangon with a transfer to our hotel.


Day 9 I Yangon – Golden Rock

This morning, we'll rise early and travel to one of Myanmar's most beautiful and interesting phenomena, the Golden Rock. En route to the pagoda, we'll stop at Bago, one of the kingdom's important cities throughout history, where we'll visit a pagoda housing four Buddha statues guarding the heart of the structure. Continuing our journey, we'll explore a traditional woodworking workshop before arriving at the Golden Rock. In the evening, we'll witness the special sunset at the iconic and sacred Golden Rock. Overnight stay at the Golden Rock.


Day 10 I Golden Rock – Yangon

This morning, we'll descend from the Golden Rock and return to Yangon, stopping at one of the rubber plantations to observe the production process and visiting a family-owned workshop specializing in carving wooden statues. Upon reaching Yangon, we'll visit the Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery, where 27,000 Imperial Japanese soldiers are buried. In the evening, we'll enjoy dinner at a restaurant on one of the city's lakes. Overnight stay in Yangon.


Day 11 I Yangon – Shwedagon Pagoda

This morning, according to the flight schedule, we'll depart for Luang Prabang via Bangkok, marking the beginning of our journey in a new country. We bid farewell to the fascinating Myanmar and set out to discover Laos. In the afternoon, we'll arrive in Luang Prabang, the historical capital of Laos and the royal seat of the monarchy until the arrival of the communists in the region. After organizing ourselves at the hotel, we'll explore the night market where local ethnic minorities display their unique merchandise.


Day 12 I Luang Prabang - Kuang Si Falls

In the ancient streets of Luang Prabang, a special Buddhist ceremony takes place, preserved in the city for hundreds of years. Every morning, monks in saffron robes collect alms from hundreds of believers. We'll rise before dawn and head to the city streets to witness this impressive ceremony. We'll return to the hotel for breakfast and then visit Wat Xieng Thong, the most impressive monastery and a "commercial symbol" of the city. With its sloping roofs almost touching the ground and mosaic works depicting traditional life in Laos, the temple still serves as a home to the royal golden boat. We'll visit the temple and its surroundings, then move on to the National Museum located in the former royal palace. Afternoon free for leisure, and in the evening, we'll enjoy the special sunset at Mount Phousi, overlooking the city.


Day 13 I Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Caves

The morning begins with a visit to the royal palace, which contains various special temples, the most important of which is Wat Kaxing Tong, designed in a classic Lao-Lao style with a curved roof that reaches the floor. From the palace area, we'll embark on a private boat trip along the Mekong River to one of the most interesting caves in the East, the Pak Ou Caves. Here, we can see thousands of Buddha statues covered in gold leaf, which have been preserved in the place for centuries. After the boat trip, we'll return to the city and set out on a walking tour in the foothills of the Phou Si mountains, from where we'll have a breathtaking view of the Mekong River and the numerous agricultural terraces in the area. Overnight stay in Luang Prabang.


Day 14 I Luang Prabang – Vang Vieng

This morning, we'll leave Luang Prabang and fly to Vang Vieng. Upon arrival in this southern city, we'll visit the ancient ruins of the Champhasak cultural site, impressed by the fascinating archaeological findings from the pre-Angkorian culture. We'll continue and wander through the archaeological site Wat Phou, located at the foot of Mount Phu Kao. From here, we'll proceed through picturesque villages back to the Vang Vieng area, where we'll spend the night.


Day 15 I Vang Vieng – Between Waterfalls and Picturesque Villages

A day of wonderful nature awaits us. In the morning, we'll embark on a short journey to the plains of the Bolaven Plateau Nature Reserve. The area is famous for its numerous waterfalls and the abundance of flowing water. During our nature tour, we'll visit Tad Fane waterfall, a 100-meter high waterfall, and the nearby cool waters of Tad Lo waterfall. We'll enjoy a coffee break against the backdrop of the magical scenery and continue to stroll among the coffee, tea, and agricultural fields, experiencing the fascinating day in this captivating region. After exploring the region, we'll return to Pakse for an overnight stay and dinner.


Day 16 I Pakse – Siem Reap

This morning we will explore more of the rural area around Pakse before taking the connecting flight from Pakse (Laos) to Siem Reap (Cambodia). Upon arrival in Cambodia, we will settle into our hotel and embark on a panoramic tour of the city, exploring the beautiful parks, picturesque streets, and vibrant markets that adorn it. Overnight stay in Siem Reap.


Days 17-18 I Wonders of Angkor

During the first two days of the trip in the Siem Reap region, we will enjoy visiting the unique archaeological complex – the Angkor Temples. We will explore impressive sites, including the grand Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, the ancient capital with its giant stone faces, Ta Prohm Temple, which has been reclaimed by the jungle over the centuries, and more. In the evening, we'll have the opportunity to witness the mesmerizing Apsara dance performance.


Day 19 I Siem Reap – Kulen Mountains – Banteay Temples

This morning, after being amazed by the wonders of the Angkor Temples, we will venture a bit off the classic tourist routes. We'll travel to the Kulen Mountains region, where we'll visit the large Buddha statue and picturesque waterfalls in the area. Combining easy walks between the various sites in the mountain region, we will continue to explore the temples of Banteay, including the remarkable Bayon Temple, Elephant Terrace, the Leper King Terrace, and more. In the evening, we'll return to our hotel in Siem Reap for accommodation and dinner.


Day 20 I  Siem Reap – Elephant Terrace Temple – Tonle Sap Lake Cruise

This morning we will continue exploring the wonders of Angkor, visiting the second complex where we will see the Nature Temple, Phrea Khan, considered the most beautiful nature temple in Cambodia. We will then head to another beautiful gem: the main Elephant Terrace Temples - East Mebon. Situated in the eastern water reservoir of Angkor, we will embark on a cruise on Tonle Sap Lake, passing through unique floating villages.
