Day 1 I Manila (B, D)
What fun our journey is beginning! We will meet at the airport and take a short flight to Amman, the capital of Jordan. After landing, we will have a short waiting period and then depart on another flight to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand (where we will return briefly at the end of the trip). After a short wait at Bangkok's airport for our connecting flight to Manila, the capital of the Philippines, we will leave the airport and travel through the sea of motorcycle riders to the city of Manila for our accommodation and dinner.
Day 2 I Manila – Taal Lake (B, D)
After settling into our hotel in Manila this morning, we will set out to explore the surrounding area. Our first destination will be the Taal Volcano, a spectacular volcano whose last eruption occurred in 1977, causing extensive damage in the region. In recent years, it has become one of the important tourist attractions in the central Luzon region. Upon arrival at the volcano, we will board the local "bankas" (small boats) and embark on a cruise to the island located in the middle of the magnificent lake formed as a result of the unique tectonic activity in the area. Once anchored, we will mount local horses (it's not obligatory to ride; those who prefer walking can do so gladly) and ride to explore the area, reaching the top of the mountain to witness the powerful eruption of the volcano. After this adventurous experience, we will return by car to Manila for an overnight stay and dinner.
Day 3 I Manila to Clark – Pampanga (B, D)
Today, we will leave Manila and start our long journey north to the beautiful and less touristy region of the Philippines. A short drive will take us to Clark City, where we will have a brief tour to get to know the lifestyle of the city known for its large bookstores, neighboring the bustling capital Manila. We will continue our journey across high volcanic mountains and interesting landscapes towards Pampanga, located at the foot of the Pinatubo Volcano. Another one of our special points in the Philippines. Overnight stay and dinner in Pampanga.
Day 4 I Off-Road Day at Mount Pinatubo (B, D)
An exciting, experiential, enjoyable, and unforgettable day in the region of Mount Pinatubo: In the morning, we will connect with off-road vehicles for a journey through one of the less-known but beautiful areas of the Philippines – Mount Pinatubo. In 1991, the volcano erupted, threatening to destroy the entire area. Fortunately for the locals, as a result of that eruption, the area turned into one of the beautiful and fascinating destinations in the region. After an off-road drive, we will embark on a beautiful 2-hour walking route through valleys and volcanic rocks, crossing the river at different points. We will observe fascinating geological phenomena, and especially enjoy the hot springs at the foot of the volcano, where we can take a refreshing and pleasant swim and have lunch. After touring the area, we will stay overnight in the region. Overnight stay and dinner in Pampanga.
Day 5 I Pinatubo – Banaue (B, D)
A day of long travel awaits us. In the morning, we will leave the city of Pampanga and embark on a long journey north to one of the regions considered the highlight of our special journey to the Philippines: Banaue. Upon arrival in the town, we will check into a hotel that will host us in the coming days and explore the small shops that adorn the beautiful tour area. We'll engage in heartfelt conversations with the locals and be impressed by the unique village life of the Banaue region. Overnight stay and dinner in Banaue.
Day 6 I Rice Terraces of Banaue - Sagada (B, D)
After breakfast, we will meet with the local team and embark on a journey to the shoulder of the mountain to overlook the impressive rice terraces. From the breathtaking viewpoint, we will continue on a 1.5-hour walk through these rice terraces towards the surrounding villages. Along the way, we will meet the local residents, learn about their simple way of life, and continue on a beautiful walking route through the village area. We will explore the tiered rice terraces that the local residents irrigate using a unique system of streams and springs. These streams converge into the waterways, forming an integral and inseparable part of the ecological system that allows the locals to cultivate rice terraces on high and complex mountainous terrain. After the scenic walks, we will return to the Banaue area for an overnight stay. (B, D)
Day 7 I Banaue – Batad Village (B, D)
In the morning, we will board a jeepney, a vehicle commonly used for public transportation in the Philippines, and set out for the Batad rice terraces for captivating and unique walking routes. The trek to the picturesque village of Batad is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, allowing us to explore the unique construction methods of the local residents and the way the terraces are built on the breathtaking mountainside at the center of which lies the Batad village. During the tour, we will also visit the Tappiyah Falls, located beyond the mountain. Those who wish to relax during the walk can sit and have coffee at the picturesque area of the local restaurants. After the village tour, we will stop for a light lunch at one of the local inns and enjoy the special serenity that characterizes the area. In the afternoon, we will board our jeepney again and return to our accommodation in the Banaue area. (B, D)
Day 8 I Banaue – Boracay Beach (B, D)
This morning, we will bid farewell to the enchanting region of Banaue, the rice terraces, the tribes, and the unique experiences we've gathered in the past few days in the Philippines. We will embark on a several-hour journey to the Cauayan Airport, which will take us to the enjoyable and comfortable part of the magical tropical beach of Boracay. Upon landing, we will settle in a hotel located within a short walking distance from the beach, don our swimwear, and dive into the stunning turquoise waters of Boracay Island. Overnight stay and dinner in Boracay.
Days 9-10 I Boracay Beach (B, D)
Two full days of true relaxation await us. After exploring, riding jeeps, walking, eating, and experiencing the unique adventures of the Philippines, it's time to truly unwind. On this day, we will simply enjoy the sandy and white shores of Boracay Beach. For those who choose to engage in special beach activities, we can arrange (for an additional fee) activities such as jet skiing, diving, snorkeling, and even a helicopter tour above the island. Overnight stay and dinner in Boracay.
Day 11 I Boracay – Manila (B, D)
This morning, we bid farewell to the white beaches. Perhaps we can manage to work on our last sunburn... (Important to know that we returned from vacation, right?) We will take a flight to the capital city, Manila, where we will have a farewell dinner in the amazing country, and in the evening, we will head out to celebrate the end of the journey at one of the city's clubs. Overnight stay and dinner in Manila.
Days 12 I Manila (B)
This morning, with a big smile on our faces, we will rest a little more and recover for our return home. Free time will be given for shopping at the city's large mall, after all, we can't return empty-handed!
