Our Suggested Itinerary - Explore a past Aujo Travel trip for your next adventure
Day 1 | Arrival in Santorini
Upon landing on the magical island, we'll meet the local team and transfer to our hotel for initial arrangements and to enjoy the hotel's amenities, accommodation, and dinner.
Day 2 | Santorini
Today, we'll embark on a tour of beautiful Santorini: just before noon, we'll tour among the picturesque villages of the island: we'll visit the village of Kamari and ascend to the Prophet Elijah Monastery for a beautiful view of the island. From there, we'll continue to visit a local winery and try the local wine quality along with snacks. After the winery visit, we'll proceed to the village of Pyrgos overlooking the blue caldera. We'll stroll along the cliffside walkway and admire the magnificent scenery. Overnight stay in Santorini.
Day 3 | Santorini
This morning, we'll enjoy the hotel where we're staying and head out in the afternoon to visit the fascinating archaeological site of Akrotiri, Greece's Pompeii, where life frozen in time following the eruption of the volcano has been preserved. From here, we'll proceed to visit the spectacular geological phenomenon of the "Red Beach," an interesting geological formation. We'll pass through the picturesque village of Emporio and try to immerse ourselves in the interesting village life. As the sun sets, we'll admire the stunning sunset view on the island and return to our hotel to freshen up before heading out to a local tavern for a wonderful Greek celebration.
