The Pyrenees mountain range is a high chain of mountains stretching from the Mediterranean coast in the east to the Atlantic coast in the west, along a border separating Spain and France. It spans 4,500 kilometers and is characterized by thousands of lakes, hundreds of canyons, and river valleys. Water flows through it in torrents, cascading down numerous waterfalls from the highest peaks in Europe. The mountains are covered with lush green forests and, in certain months, adorned with endless and beautiful blooms.

Our Suggested Itinerary - Explore a past Aujo Travel trip for your next adventure
Day 1 I Barcelona - Sort
Upon arrival in the city, we head north to the town of Sort, and if time permits, we'll climb to the summit of Montserrat, the mountain shaped like a saw from which a magnificent view of the entire area is observed. From here, we continue on an easy walk to Sant Guvrny. From there, we continue driving towards the town of Congost de Mont-rebei, from where we start an unforgettable introductory walk to get to know the Pyrenees mountain range. Accommodation and dinner in the town of Sort.
Days 2-3 I Trek in the Aigüestortes Natural Park
This morning we will have breakfast and set out for the Aigüestortes Natural Park: In this nature reserve, we will spend the next three days on various and diverse trekking routes: Aigüestortes is considered one of the most famous nature reserves in the Pyrenees. This reserve, whose name means "twisted waters," is a nature reserve rich in numerous streams, raging waterfalls, and clear-flowing rivers that flow into large lakes scattered throughout the reserve. The stunning park is not only a park of twisting waters but also of dark forests, majestic cliffs, rocks, caves, and abundant and fascinating flora and fauna - a paradise for nature lovers. As part of the trek, we ascend to the Amitges area, rising to a height of 2,350 meters above sea level.
Overnight camping in the heart of the nature reserve. We trek to the Upper Lake in Nett-Maurice and continue walking to Refugiou for dinner and overnight stay. On the fourth day of the trip, we continue walking towards the town of Aspot, from where we return to the base town of Sort.
Day 4 I Canyoning Activity
This morning we will organize ourselves and continue to a special canyoning activity: sliding from a height of 300 meters inside a canyon, with frozen waterfalls making sure the rocks are slippery and the surfers wet as appropriate. After the cool experience, we will return to stay in the Sort area.
Day 5 I Rafting - Barcelona
This morning we will head to the rafting site. We receive professional equipment and explanations, and enter a challenging and enjoyable river course. We continue and enjoy the special rafting area and head to Barcelona by car. Here, you can enjoy the special city from its sites to its unique nightlife.
Days 6-8 I Vacation in Barcelona
Independent transfer to the airport.
